6.00 am start.
Pick up from the hotel in Saint Catherine village.
Hike through El Arbaeen valley, 1 hour. Stop to meet Bedouin family.
Hike to Saint Catherine summit, 3 hours.
Rest at the summit, 1 hour.
Hike down through the Red Mountain valley, about 2 hours of rocky path.
Stop for Lunch.
Hike through El Motaher valley, El Shag valley (water dam), El Zaiton Valley, El Khudid valley
and Abu Gifa valley, about 5 hours.
Finish around 4 or 5 pm.

Notes:
There are toilets on Saint Catherine summit and room for staying the night.
The church is closed.
There are toilets in El Shaq and El Khudid.
2 small springs on the way have water all the year round (Ain Shakia).
There are facilities for staying the night at the summit, in El Shaq and El Khudid.
You can use a camel on the way to the summit, but it is not possible to get a camel through the Red Mountain valley.
Drive From Cairo to Saint Anthony Monastery. About 3 hours drive.
Visit the Monastery.
Hike to the cave.
Drive to Saint Paul on the other side of the Mountain and visit the Monastery.
Lunch will be at the zafarana rest stop.
Drive back to Cairo.

5am: Transfer from Cairo to Saint Anthony Monasteries in the Red Sea Mountains.
Visit the Monastery – Lunch
Start the hiking tour.
Dinner and camp overnight on the Red Sea Mountains.
Day 2
Breakfast
Continue hiking to Saint Paul Monastery
Arrive in the Monastery around noon.
Lunch
Visit Saint Paul Monastery.
Drive back to Cairo.
Note: Please stick with the timing because of the convoy
6am : Pick up from sharm and travel to Saint Catherine and visit the Monastery (2.5 – 3 hours)
Light Lunch
Hike Moses mountain 3-4 hours each way
Hike down to the Monastery
8pm Travel back to Sharm (2.5 – 3 hours)
