Our passion

We give guests advice about appropriate dress before the tour, to avoid impacting local cultures. We also provide advice on interacting with local communities.

Many of our activities encourage cross cultural experience. These include opportunities to fish, cook, and visit with families in their homes and on their farms in local communities.

Our dream is to create a better understanding of Egypt and Egyptian culture and people, and to create boats and experiences that are fully sustainable, with the minimum impact on the Nile River and its valley and the people who live here.

Samir Abbas

CEO

Samir is a PhD history candidate at UPF Barcelona. He graduated with a master’s degree in world history from UPF. He holds three university degrees: one in Egyptology, one in Tourism, and one in Agriculture Sciences.

He is a dedicated environmentalist since 1994, a former basketball player in the Egyptian National League, an ardent traveller and blogger, and is committed to promoting intercultural dialogue between Africa and other regions.
