Half Day Tour to the GEM
Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. 12 exhibition halls of the main Galleries, Grand
Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial area, and exterior gardens. The GEM has a big
collection covering most of Ancient Egypt’s historical period, displayed in a
unique way. Please note, not all the museum sections are open to the public yet,
including king Tut Ankh Amon collection, which is still partly in the old museum
(such as the Golden mask, the Golden coffin and the golden jewelries).

The Egyptian Museum and Islamic Cairo
Visit the Egyptian museum. Including king Tut Ankh Amon collection and the
Animals Mummies room.
Lunch at Abo Tarek which is famous for Koshri, the most common fast food in
Egypt, a mix of rice, pasta, lentils , chickpeas, fried onion, and tomato sauce.
Walking tour in Downtown Cairo.
Visit Coptic Old Cairo. Include the Hanging church, Abu Serga Church, The Holy
Crypt.
Visit the Citadel. Including Mohamed Ali mosque.
Walking tour of Medieval Cairo in El Muizz Street. This is the best preserved area
with mediaeval Islamic architecture such as mosques, houses, markets, and other
Mediaeval structures. It’s a perfect place to experience the local culture of Egypt
today.
Visit Khan El Khalili market.
