The Red Sea has over 1,000 species of marine life, including many species found nowhere else on the planet. Egypt’s Red Sea cities offer beautiful blue water, excellent beaches, and an extensive choice of superb coral reefs for snorkelling, scuba diving, or free diving. These laid-back cities serve as home bases for a variety of activities on the water as well as in the nearby desert and mountains.
A day or half day on a boat gives you a different perspective of the Red Sea than what you experience at your hotel beach; it is the best way to discover the underwater world of the Red Sea. You don’t have to be an expert diver or snorkeler; beginners and children are welcome. Your dive and snorkel guides are all qualified and will take care of your safety in the water. You can scuba dive, snorkel, or just stay on deck and enjoy the scenery.
If you haven’t tried scuba diving before, an introduction to diving and your first dive certification can be done while you are in Egypt. Other PADI qualification courses and packages of multiple dives for experienced divers are also available. Please ask us for the costs of dive packages and the current weekly dive schedules.
