Arrival in Luxor
Transfer from Luxor airport or train station to the Dahabiya. Welcome dinner on deck as the boat prepares to depart at sunset. Overnight moored in Luxor.
Valley of the Kings & west bank
Morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon with your on-board English-speaking guide. Afternoon sailing south.
Esna & sailing the Nile
Pass through the Esna lock — a memorable experience — then visit Esna Temple. Afternoon at leisure on deck watching the green banks drift by.
Edfu & Kom Ombo temples
Two of Egypt’s best-preserved temples in one day. Edfu is dedicated to Horus; Kom Ombo, uniquely, is a double temple shared by crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Haroeris.
Nubian village & felucca
Visit a traditional Nubian village — one of the highlights of the journey. Afternoon felucca ride around Elephantine Island before returning to the Dahabiya for a farewell dinner.
Aswan & departure
Morning visit to Philae Temple and the High Dam before transfer to Aswan airport or station. Optional Abu Simbel day trip can be arranged (not included).
